Day of the Family

This weekend we had a big celebration for "Day of the Family". All of the family members of our students (at the bilingual school, not the university) were invited to come to school on Saturday; where we proceeded to have class presentations, food, games and prizes for everyone. It was a really big affair. And if you have any idea of how big latino families are, you will know that there were A LOT of people attending! So that meant a lot of work for us teachers! After school on friday we spent almost 5 hours decorating for the event! Besides all the time we spent preparing our little students to sing and dance for their families, the teachers were also responsible for serving the families. So we had a lot of work! Hopefully everyone enjoyed themselves. Unfortunately I have no pictures of anything since I was rather to busy to take my camera out.
